Dear Neighbors,
The one thing I’ve loved about work drastically slowing down during lockdown is the time to play around with new styles and ideas. Sometimes I really love them. Sometimes I really don’t. Sometimes I can’t decide if I love or hate one, but I’ll share it with you anyways. Stay bright and cheery and best you can!
Love and light,

Dear Neighbors,
Cloudy days. Rainbows ahead. I know we have a long long way to go, but I’m holding on to happy memories and planning for that bright and shiny future world when we can all hug and hang out again. I’m dreaming of dance parties, dinner parties and swimming pools. Aah, tell me what’s giving you life these days. Send me your happy thoughts!

Dear Neighbors,
Bright colors make everything better. It’s true! Let me tell you a story. I gave my 8 year old a quarantine haircut today. He was happy until he saw himself in the mirror. Then there were crocodile tears and hiding under a blanket for an hour. So we died his little buzzcut purple and now he’s happy! End of story. I hope you are able to find a little bit of bright color in your life today. If you need help, let me know. I have plenty of paint and purple hair dye.

Dear Neighbors,
Your empty walls have been keeping me company these past couple of months. I thank you for that. I’m about to get back at it for real. I start painting again this Friday. I’m excited, but also a bit nervous. I shouldn’t be. Mural painting is very socially distanced. I’ll be safe. I have four projects scheduled in the next few weeks. Two have been on the books for awhile. Two are new and have delightfully come from these little mural mock-ups. I’m so glad to bring some of these to life! Thank you for following. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for everything. I’ll definitely keep these up because they bring me joy and they bring me sanity. So even though I’m back to work, I just can’t quit you, neighbors!
Love and light,
Avery O
Dear Neighbors,
Please forgive me. My mural designs are getting repetitive. But so is life, so ya know.... Here’s another bird. It’s all I got today. And there ya have it.

Dear Neighbors,
It is already hot. Water is nice on hot days. Here’s some water. Stay cool 😎. Stay safe. Stay home.

Dear Neighbors,
Weird times we’re living in, eh? Corona-world is obviously not my kinda weird, so here’s a house doodle that is. Keep staying home, Austin. Stay safe. Stay weird.

Dear Neighbors,
I drew a squirrel on the garage next door. Since you’re a duplex I couldn’t leave your door empty. You get an emu. Deal with it.

Dear Neighbors,
Here’s a rainbow squirrel because you needed it. I know this because I also needed some squirrel amusement this week, and boy did I get it! Today’s mural mockup is inspired by my incredible friend @abby_ruston. She made a live edge modern dining table and benches for the squirrels! Get over to her Instagram stories. RIGHT NOW and watch the beautiful magic happen. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Thank you, Abby! You truly brightened my week.

Dear Neighbors,
Today has already been one of highs and lows, so here’s a mountain range to match. Home schooling almost ruined me this morning. So, we took an abrupt break. I literally ran away, fast paced through the neighborhood, 3 or 4 miles maybe. Then I came home and was calm. I sat on the porch with the kids and we just talked for a couple of hours. It was peaceful. Sometimes the low moments help us appreciate the higher bits all the more. I hope you have more highs than lows today. Stay well.
Love and light,

Dear Neighbors,
I know I’ve mostly been sanity doodling on modern houses in the neighbor along my regular running route, but I actually run outside of the neighborhood too. Every day I pass this five story parking garage and it seems so sad and lonely. I didn’t want it to miss out on all the fun. Plus, painting a huge mural like this is a dream of mine, so I might as well put it out there. I hope this cheery pair reminds you that we are in this all together! Hang in there, my little birdies!

Dear Neighbor,
Look at that beautiful sky! I couldn’t help it. I know the sky can’t always be those incredible colors, but your garage can! You’re welcome.
